Make-Up Monday...

Hey!

Welcome to another Make-Up Monday! I'm really hoping that you guys are liking things like this - but you won't tell me so I'm just going to keep doing it because, I enjoy it and I think that you like it but I don't know.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow || Champagne || £17.50 || 2.8g

Ok, so this first product that I chosen is the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow in Champagne. I love it because it's really light and isn't pure glitter - you know when some brands say shimmer and it actually means CAUTION - A GLITTER EXPLOSION WILL HAPPEN IF YOU OPEN THIS PRODUCT! The Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow isn't like that at all. It is small and really compact and it's a nice day-time kind of colour and I really like it. I got it at the Bobbi Brown Studio in Westfield for £17.50

Nyx Eyebrow Cake Powder || Auburn/Red || £4.05
|| EPC04 || 2.65g ||

The second product is the Nyx Eyebrow Cake Powder Kit. This was a hand-me-down from my mum as a temporary eyebrow filler but I haven't gotten round to getting anything else because I think it does its job pretty well. It's not my favorite piece of make-up but I use it everyday and feel that it deserves to be mentioned on at least one Make-Up Monday post. I use the last colour - it's a light brown and I just use it to lightly fill in whatever needs filling (well aint that obvious?) In the US it is $6.00 so I converted that and it sums up as £4.05 but they might have changed the British price (just go on the NYX site - it will be more helpful) I'd also like to say that I use my Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush to apply this and I'm not sure why I put the brush with the Eyeshadow because I apply that with my finger.....

Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 || Medium to Dark Tint
 || £29.00 || 50m ||

The last product is the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer in the Medium to Dark Tint. It is lovely. Now because I'm a teenager, my skin is naturally lighter so tinted moisturizers are best for my skin compared to foundation which is what many girls in my year cake onto their faces. I feel it looks a lot more natural compared to foundation and feels so much lighter on my face.

Because it says moisturizer on it - it doesn't mean you don't moisturize before using it. I still moisturize then apply my primer. After I've done that and let it all set I'll the add the tinted moisturizer and then the rest of my make-up. I have been reading about keeping skin healthy and one of the tips was to get make-up with SPF in it because even if you can't see the sun or it's a really drippy day (drippy?) the sun can still damage your skin if you're out in it - even if the damage isn't visible now, it will be visible in 10 years time or so. Therefore I have gone for the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15. I got it for £29.00 it is probably the most expensive piece of make-up I own but it was worth it.

Lush Eau Roma Water Toner Water || Made By Scott || £4.25 || 100g

The Lush product that I have chosen is the Eau Roma Water. It is basically a toner in a spray bottle. It has quite a floral and fresh scent to it and one of the main ingredients is lavender water. I like to spritz it directly onto my face in the morning, especially if I'm feeling tired but have to be awake, as it is really cold and kind of shoots a burst of energy through my face and body, readying me for the day. I got it at the Lush store in Westfield for £4.25. The 250g bottle is £7.95 (but I was broke and went for the smaller one)

Almost Forgot about #slapyourself ....

Hey!!!

I still have time! It's only 23:38 so I have just under half an hour to get this out of my system.

So I frantically searched Twitter for the top trending hashtag and on the Twitter account Trending Topics or @NowTrend who said that the top hashtag is #slapyourself which, if you didn't know, is basically a hashtag where you tweet a reason for someone to slap themselves. Sounds alright to me!!!

So, this was quite a quick post so I will just try to make it slightly longer by telling you what I did today.

I am staying yet another night with my chummie Gee (from Gee's Blog) and we watched a bunch of fail videos, took a couple of mugshots, Snapchatted, then added the guys that we really, really, really, really, REALLY like on Facebook, and hers accepted (the guy I like is probably just doing other stuff.....maybe..................sleeping?) We went on Omegle and now I am trying to get this post done before midnight and that is 9 minutes away......

Ok I'm sorry this post was a bit crap, but I admit - I totally forgot.

#cut4zayn .....

Hey!

Ok, I was browsing through Twitter and saw this #cut4zayn thing and my first initial reaction was "This isn't an actual thing. Is it?" but it turns out it is and I think it is absolutely horrible.

If you didn't know what it is, it is basically a bunch of Zayn Malik fans who are cutting themselves, taking a picture of it and tweeting it with the hastag #cut4zayn in the ridiculous hopes that it will bring back Zayn to 1 direction.

It is ridiculous. It is a horrible, horrible thing. There are literally no other words to say about it really. I think that whoever is participating in this #cut4zayn is actually quite stupid and idiotic and really needs to see a doctor or a psychiatrist because I don't think that their way of thinking is how it should be.

Whoever started the trend should be utterly ashamed of themselves because they have caused a bunch of teen girls and maybe boys to self harm because they think it will bring back Zayn Malik. But it won't. It never would have, and it never will.

In his statement about leaving the band he said "I just want to be a normal 22 year old". Do you actually think that any normal 22 year old goes onto Twitter to be warmly greeted with his fans blood and the head of a dog? Yes, someone cut off the head of their dog.

No normal 22 year old sees that. And personally, I think that if you are cutting yourself for Zayn Malik, you can't really be classed as fans, because his actual fans would respect his decision of leaving and either support him with positive comment of him leaving the band, or they'd just say good luck and not bother with him anymore.

It was his decision to leave 1 Direction and it will be his decision to rejoin. Do you seriously think he'd appreciate being forced back into the band? Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that if you agree with the whole #cut4zayn thing you need to seriously sit down and rethink about what you're about to do and if you have already done it, you need to seriously look at what you have done and think if it was actually worth it and if you think that it was worth it, you need help.

I'm sorry, but that is how I feel about this crap.

OMGOMGOMFG!!!!

HEY!!!

OH. MY. GOD. We did it!!! This blog now has 515 page views!! This is just amazing!!! I literally have no words to describe how happy and amazed I am that we have gotten to this amount of viewers!!!!!!! I would just love to thank all of you so, so, so, so, SO MUCH!!!! I do love all of you and appreciate this so much. It is honestly one the the best things that has happened in my life so far - I'm not exaggerating in the slightest.

An Important Message...

Hey!

As you may know, I have a cat. Recently he got hit by a car and my mum wanted to take him to a private service, so she called up our local vet, told them Charlie had gotten hit by a car and asked if they could take a look at him. They refused to see him unless my mum could pay them on the day.

So my mum took Charlie up to an RSPCA Veterinary Service in Putney, where they looked after him and gave him everything he'd need to get better and gave my mum time to get the money and pay them then. But that part of the RSPCA service is going to close down because they aren't making enough money. Without them Charlie might not have been able to walk properly because he had a dislocated shoulder.

Imagine this little guy on the street because his owners
can't afford his vet bills....

The RSPCA Veterinary Services currently admits 34,400 animals as inpatients into the hospital for treatment every year. If they close down even more animals will be either living on the streets or put down, because people just don't have the money to pay private practices.

I know many of you may not even have a pet but that doesn't mean you just ignore this message, it's important to other people that the RSPCA doesn't shut down the veterinary service. If you tweet the hashtag #HelpRSPCAVets you'll be raising awareness and helping those that are broke (there are a lot of us) keep their fair veterinary service.

You can also share the link of this blog post on any form of social media because the health of any pet is important.

Failing (yet again), Things That I'm LOVING Right Now + Even More Failing...

Hey!

It is Wednesday, therefore, I get to post whatever I like today so that's what I'm going to do!

So first of all I have to say, I am going through a small bit of a 5SOS phase and that is who I am listening to on repeat on the way to and from school. And speaking of going on the way to and from school, I tend to walk (partly because my Oyster card got snapped in half and now the bus drivers wont let me on the bus...) so on my journey to school I walk past the guy that I like's house. And it seems that whenever I am in his presence I mess up.

For example,

1. I was with my mate and we started walking up his road (talking about him - not my choice of convo at that particular time) and I said "but he has a really nice smile" and as I said that he rode past on his bike - smiling because he obviously heard me.
2. I walked past his house and tripped up as he came out of his house - so he saw.
3. I was walking to school (in-front of him) and walked into a bush

And in all of those I wasn't physically aware that he was there - what is wrong with me???

Also, I tried to take up learning guitar - but I'm failing at that too...

So, in the title I mentioned some things that I am LOVING right now so I'll tell you what they are...

1. Love Tanya, By Tanya Burr.                                                                                                            Oh my gosh! I am literally LOVING this book, I don't want to get to the end of it!! It's so good and it has SO many tips and tricks for things - I take it EVERYWHERE and read it whenever I can - even in lessons, but then again I am a bit of a nerd!!!

2. PaperChase Pens.                                                                                                                             I love the pens at PaperChase but then again, I get excited when I go into a shop and get to buy a brand new stationary set, so the pens that I write with have to be right. I love the way the pen writes and feels when I'm holding it and it is just a lovely pen. I've been writing in my Love Tanya book a lot with them so I guess I'm going to need to buy another one pretty soon...

3. And finally my phone case from PaperChase.                                                                                 Yes PaperChase does sell phone cases too which I think are SO cute. My one is plastic but I really want to go back and get a silicone one at some point - it's just a matter of when and how I can get the money. I added my earphones in the picture because I just thought it was cool and I have been using music to avoid any confrontation from the guy I like after any embarrassing moments (and there are a lot of those moments!)

Also, I am so excited because I love Easter!!! I'm not religious but that will NOT stop me from buying a massive Easter Egg and those little chicks that look cute but cause serious damage if you step on one barefoot, sit on one or lean on one with your hand accidentally. And it's such a happy, pretty season with all the flowers and baby animals etc...

Make-Up Monday...

Hey!

Welcome to Make-Up Monday! Every Monday I will be blogging about my 3 favorite make-up/beauty products and 1 of  my favorite Lush products (if I have one - I might run out...)

Anyway let's get on with it!

Bobbi Brown || Tinted Eye Brightener || Dark Peach || 9.6 ml

My first product is the Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener in Dark Peach. I think it was around £19 so yeah - it was expensive, however I think it is really worth the money. It's a lighter version of concealer, making it great for people with delicate skin and teenagers. I got this specific one at the Bobbi Brown Studio in Westfield White City, after my complimentary beauty lesson, and the girl who did my make-up was lovely and I think she did a good job of it too!

Bobbi Brown || Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner || Black || 1.3 g
|| Bobbi Brown || Ultra Fine Eye Liner ||

My second product is the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink 1 (along with the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eye Liner Brush). The actual eyeliner itself was about £18, and the brush was £22.50.

The brush was a hand-me-down from my mum (who I'd like to thank greatly for giving it to me). I say this because I can use the brush for filling my eyebrows in and doing my eye-liner because I use a powder to fill in my eyebrows (I'll show that next week - also a hand-me-down from my mum). 

Anyway, the eyeliner made it to my Make-Up Monday blog because it goes on so so easily and stays on for just over 5 and a half hours before it begins to fade - so no crumbs of eyeliner all the way down your face!! I just love it!!

L'Oreal Paris || Voluminous Extra Volume Mascara
 || No Clumps || Black || 7 ml ||

And my third and final favorite beauty product is the Voluminous Extra Volume Mascara - No Clumps by L'Oreal Paris in Black.. Now this is my absolute favorite mascara ever and I use it every day - unless I forget to put on make-up. It is £8.99 in Superdrug and is definitely worth the money. There are literally no words to describe how much I love this mascara, I just really love it.

Now for the Lush!!!

Lush || Let The Good Times Roll || 100 g

My favorite Lush product is Let The Good Time Roll Face & Body Cleanser made by Sam. I purchased this from the Lush store in Westfield and is honestly my absolute favorite thing I have purchased and tried from there so far! It smells like a mash-up of Pina Colada and popcorn (not the I drink Pina Colada!!! I'm only 14!!) and it keeps a muffled version of that smell on your face or body for a good hour or so (don't worry you won't smell like a drunk person - it's just a really lovely fresh smell not strong Pina Colada) and it made my face feel so lovely and soft and clean! I love using it! It was £6.75 and it is amazing!!!

So that was today's blog! I am sorry that I didn't blog  yesterday but this is a clean slate for my blog and yeah....

Update!!

Hey!

I have decided (to make blogging topics easier to think about) to set days for specific topics.
Did that make sense? It doesn't matter, you'll get the drift in a second.

So.....

1. Make-Up Mondays. Every Monday I will blog about my Top 3 favorite make-up items (may include Lush and/or make-up brushes). 
2. Whatever Wednesdays. I will literally blog about anything (of my choice).
3. Social Sundays. I will (for the mean time) blog about the top trending things on Twitter - UNLESS you guys give me something to blog about. Just post what you want in the comments below or tweet what you want with the #socialsunday and I will choose my favorite topic out of them. And if you want, I can do shout-outs as well. But I'm not sure, you'll have to tell me.
4. And on one random day of the week I will  blog something. (Even if it means 2 blog posts in a day.

So all in all, there will be 4 blog posts a week.............why am I doing this?????

I guess it's because I don't feel like I am giving enough here.....

SO........starting next week Monday I will be trial running my new rota-thingy...

In some not-so-lovely news, my cat Charlie was hit by a car.

Yes he should be fine, although his shoulder is completely popped out of is original place, so he is going to be sedated and x-rayed and will have to stay the night in the vet :( but he should be home tomorrow which is all good :)

What's Wrong With Me???

Hey!

Recently, for some reason, I haven't been motivated for anything or been able to fully look forward to anything. All I've wanted to do is stay in bed and sleep or sit on the sofa.I haven't done anything that I would usually like to do because I just don't get the normal joy out of it - even singing and listening to music! I honestly don't know what's wrong with me. If anyone else feels like this or felt like this but found out what it is and/or how to deal with it, commenting in the comments section would really help me out.

Sorry to start off like that, I really can't stress enough how much I don't want this blog to be like "ooh poor Kalli" etc, but I did say that I want to keep this as real as possible - and it wouldn't be real if I didn't let you know exactly what's going on.

I honestly can't see where this blog post is going. I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday and now I'm throwing all of this negative energy and negativity towards you, I'm just not in the best place of my life right now - hopefully I'll be back to normal by next week at the least.

Also, I am thinking of changing my blog schedule, and my blog layout. From now on, I will be posting every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday (depending on how I'm feeling).

I hope that is ok. Sorry this blog has been a bit of a downer.

It feels like ages.....

Hey!!!

It feels like ages since I've last posted! Omg I posted on Monday, didn't I?

Maybe I haven't.......I'm sorry!! I literally can't remember when I last posted!! 

Anyway, today is Red Nose Day, Comic Relief, and NBC (American telly company) came and filmed my school, with some year 10's performing on our bridge! Yeah pretty exciting. 

Also, my school is holding its annual Brentfactor (school talent show), now you may know that I won it the first time I tried it out, so I left it a year and decided to audition again this year. The audition was awful. 

I performed the song and messed up, even though I knew it like the back of my hand! My singing tutor said that I 'over practised' and she's probably right. I listened to it on repeat, constantly checking lyrics, humming it, singing it, thinking about it, and then I couldn't even sing the first word right.

Well that's pretty much all that's happened in my life, oh apart from the fact that I made two complete fails infront of the guy that I like.

Of course I'm going to tell you what happened. First of all, after I failed the audition I went and bought a pack of sweets (feeling sorry for myself of course) and walked home. On the way home the guy I like, rode past me on his bike. Then as I turned the corner (stuffing about 5 sweets in my mouth), he was sitting there and looked up at me from his phone, I stood there for a second processing what had just happened (still with my mouth full of sweets - sporting the hamster look) then I blushed and walked off as quickly as possible.

The second incident. I was walking to school, and I was walking normally. Just like a normal person who can walk. I was in a good mood and was walking with no faults whatsoever. Then I walked past his house (I was on the opposite side of the road) and as he walked out I tripped. It was a trip that was so tragic, it couldn't go unnoticed - at all. It's not even like he could go in his mind like "Did she trip? Was that an actual trip?" It was a definite "SHE TRIPPED" (I was just in his mind...even if it was through Blogger).

I'm not very good at impressing guys...at all.

Early Birthday Presents, Bobbi Brown + a Coconut Cake-Thingy...

Hey!

It's my birthday tomorrow (as you probably know already), and I've already gotten some amazing presents!

These are the things my
chummie made me!

1. My chummie made me a Nash Grier themed letter for my bedroom, a decorated notepad and a beautiful friendship card.
2. My mum tricked me into thinking that I had a dentist appointment - but instead I had a surprise birthday shopping trip with my uncle (which was amazing and I tried my very first Byron Burger - OMG it was amazing)
3. I went to have a make over at Bobbi Brown (a Westfield shop) and I got some Bobbi Brown make up products (spent about £50 on 2 products - I know, expensive)
4. I ate a coconut cake (literally a tower of coconuttyness with a cherry on top - again, AMAZING)
5. I got over 300 blog readers - so thank you guys!

Well then...

Hey!

I'm currently in school writing this. I'm having to be extra quiet - it's lunch time and I'm in the music room - this teacher is giving a lesson to two 6th form students and she seems really pissy. I'm quite heavy on the keys so this is a challenge.

Also, 295 page views. 295 page views!!!!! Well then...I'm speaking to a lot of you. You're making me nervous! Anyway, It's my birthday on Sunday, I'll be officially 14! And my chummie (over on Gee's Blog) made me the best presents ever. (Btw chummie, I love you like Nutella - and as you know. That's a lot). I love homemade gifts - they're so personal. I don't know - I just love them.

Also, I'm going to the dentist after school, I'm going to get my wisdom teeth checked out - they might get taken out at some point because they are killing me right now. (owwww). And tomorrow, I'm going to get my make-up done by Bobbi Brown. The Bobbi Brown - I'm literally going to explode with all of this excitement!!! I've never been so excited for my birthday ever. EVER. EVER.

Anyway - this was just an update post.

OH OH OH! I made a pizza with my chummie and it was AMAZING - did I already post that in another blog? I can't remember....

Happy Monday!!!

Hey!

I know. I did it again. I forgot to write a blog post. I'm sorry - but to make up for it :

1. Hippo milk is pink. PINK.
2. Guinea Pigs and Rabbits cant sweat
3. Sloths take 2 weeks to digest food
4. Human Birth Control Pills work on gorillas (I don't know why they'd test them on a gorilla - but whatever)
5. Ketchup was sold in the 1830's as medicine (again - not sure why)
6. A cockroach can live up to several weeks with its head cut off (why they'd want to live I'm not sure)
7. There is a city called Rome in every continent (confusing much?)
8. The elephant is the only mammal that can't jump.
9. Coca Cola would be green if there wasn't coloring added (eeeww. Why is it green?)
10. Owls are the only bird who see the color blue - but I bet that it would see the dress as white and gold.

I don't know why I hit you with those random facts - I guess I just felt like it.

Also - more importantly - before you have a go at me on the weekend. It will be my birthday on Sunday - so I will try my hardest to post on Sunday, but Sunday's post will probably just end up being posted on Saturday. Is that ok?

Another important thing you should know - is on the 21st of March something is going to happen (I don't think I mentioned it on another blog post) and that's what I would like the comments to be filling up with.
